I gotta be honest, this isn't your best work.

To start with the good, the art style got well translated to animation and stuff like the pose Brianne does when the old guy gives her the flute and simply not setting up the six door run are amusing.

On the other hand, I wish that later part applied to more of the short. The written comedy felt too dry for me and it barely landed. I've just watched episode 2 for comparison and its jokes made me laugh more thanks to a much more pronounced spontaneity, while here I felt many were a mix of predictable set-ups without much new being added and references being thrown without the satisfaction of a comeback.

In regards to the animation, the in-between department could use a little work. Their speed felt too linear, like if it was sent overseas to Korea.

All in all, I'll say it was okay considering the almost 20 years without a new episode.
Perhaps next one will be better.

Still, both were really good! Sonic fans (and non-Sonic fans) will be eating well.
